WEDDING: Amanda Murray and Steven Snyder
Amanda Grace Murray and Steven Wilson Snyder were united in marriage on Aug. 11, 2012, in Hillsdale, with Pastor Mark Brady officiating.
Amanda is the daughter of Robert and Susan Murray, and Steven is the son of Shirl Shank and Denny Shank and Tom Snyder and Mary Snyder.
The bride, who was escorted and given in marriage by her father, wore a white country dress. Her headpiece consisted of a veil with a tiara. She carried a bouquet of white stephanotis, white roses, yellow roses and blue delphiniums.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Jane Brady, pianist.
Joan Goss, of Hillsdale, aunt, served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Falishia Boyer, of Hillsdale; Kat Conner, of Glen Campbell; and Jennifer Murray, of Hillsdale, aunt.
The flower girls were Kiera Shank, of Indiana, niece, and Maggie Murray, of Hillsdale, cousin.
Brandon Aikens, of Clymer, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Alan Shank, of Homer City, stepbrother; Michal Snyder, of Pittsburgh, brother; and Lucas Murray, Hillsdale, brother of the bride.
An outdoor country reception was held in Hillsdale.
The couple took a nine-day honeymoon trip to Maine.
Amanda is a 2011 graduate of Purchase Line High School. She is employed at Luigi's Ristorante in Clymer.
Steven is a 2007 graduate of Penns Manor Area High School and Indiana County Technology Center. He also graduated from Westmoreland County Community College in 2010, earning an associate's degree in computer networking. He is employed at Clymer Beverage Inc.
