WEDDING: Elizabeth Cebula and Tomasz Chrzan
Elizabeth Morrison Cebula and Tomasz Aleksander Chrzan were united in marriage on Sept. 2, 2012, in Aurora, N.Y. The Rev. Dr. Arthur Suggs of the First Congregational Church, of Binghamton, N.Y., performed the afternoon ceremony at The Aurora Inn on Cayuga Lake.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey L. Cebula, of Binghamton, and the niece of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Daugherty, of Indiana. She was graduated from Binghamton High School in 2001, and she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Bates College in 2005. In 2010, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and expects to receive a Master of Science degree from there in September. She will pursue a career as a nurse practitioner.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jan A. Chrzan, of Longmeadow, Mass. He completed his undergraduate studies in biology at Boston University, from which he also received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2005. He has a private dental practice in East Longmeadow, Mass.
The bride wore a Monique Lhuillier gown of silk satin with a trumpet skirt. She carried a bouquet of deep pink garden roses which were used extensively throughout the ceremony and reception site. Kara Grippen, a high school friend now living in New York City, was maid of honor, and Chloe Derderian Gilbert, the bride’s cousin, of Portland, Ore., was matron of honor. Both wore Lela Rose dresses in butterscotch featuring pleated portrait collars. The groom’s nieces, Kaitlyn and Madelyn Macdonald, were flower girls, and his nephew, Alexander Macdonald, was ring bearer. The groom’s attendants were two long-time friends. Gregory Peter, of Boston, acted as best man while Adam May, of Acton, Mass., served as groomsman.
Following a honeymoon in St. Barts, French West Indies, the couple is residing in the historic Colony Hills neighborhood of Longmeadow.
