WEDDING: Kellie Ruffner and Joseph Santini
Kellie Elaine Ruffner, of Marion Center, and Joseph John Santini, of Plumville, were united in marriage on June 14, 2014, at the First United Methodist Church of Marion Center with the Rev. Carlton White officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Clair “Tip” III and Diane Ruffner, of Marion Center.
The groom’s parents are August and Patricia Santini, of Plumville.
Kellie wore a one-shoulder Maggie Sottero satin gown featuring Swarovski crystals and embellishments on the bodice that trailed down the sides and back.
The maid of honor was Katie Cornman, of Home, and the matron of honor was Zoleanne Ruffner, of Carlisle, sister-in-law of bride.
Bridesmaids were Amanda Bivens, of Indiana, and Andrea Smith, of Sellersville, sister of groom.
The flower girls were Olivia Short, of Marion Center, cousin of bride, and Claire Ruffner, of Carlisle, niece of bride.
The best man was Michael Santini, of Edgewater Park, N.J., brother of groom.
Groomsmen were Nicholas Ruffner, of Carlisle, brother of bride; Thomas Sonni, of Plumville; and Aaron Seckar, of Cheswick.
The ring bearer was Christian Ruffner, of Carlisle, nephew of bride.
The pianist was Carolyn Pollock and the soloist was Nicholas Ruffner.
A reception was held at Indiana Country Club following the ceremony.
Kellie is a 2009 graduate of Marion Center Area High School, a 2012 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and received her master’s degree in speech-language pathology in May from IUP.
Joe is a 2008 graduate of Marion Center Area High School and a 2012 graduate of Slippery Rock University. He is employed as a safety inspector for McDaniels Technical Services.
The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The couple now resides in Marion Center.
