WEDDING: Nowelle Altman and Nicholas Sigman
Nowelle Gabrielle Altman and Nicholas Alexander Sigman were united in marriage on June 21, 2014, by Pastor Joseph Altman on the BB Riverboat at Newport, Ky.
The bride was escorted by her brother, Gabriel Altman.
Nowelle is the daughter of Joseph and Lisa Altman, of Somerset, Ky. Nicholas is the son of James Sigman, of Okeechobee, Fla., and Karen and Tim Garrity, of Bowling Green, Ky. The grandparents of Nowelle are Kenneth and Helen Schall, of Rural Valley, and Helen Altman, of Shelocta, and the late Larmar Altman. The grandparents of Nicholas are Jay and Carol Hobaugh, of Lafayette, Ind., and Vicki Sigman, of Okeechobee, Fla., and the late Delbert Sigman.
Bridesmaids were Joy Buendia Altman, sister-in-law of the bride; Hailey Dawes; Celia Whelan; and Meredith Oakes. Junior Bridesmaids were Heidi Thompson, Aubree Garrity, Anna Marie Gulock, Caroline Oakes, Katie Bruner and Grace Bruner. The flower girl was Hayden Lukehart. Allie Elise Baird was the train bearer.
Groomsmen were Joel Robertson, Tyler Ghee and Jonathan Robertson. Junior groomsmen were Austin Lukehart, Jase Bruner, Jack Bruner, Josh Bruner, Grayson Gulock and Andrew Garrity. Mason Lukehart was the ring bearer and carried the rings on a Bible that belonged to the late aunt of the bride, Jacki Altman Adams. John David Baird and Camden Tackett were page boys. Vocalists were Jim Ashbrook and Christi Henderson.
The groom is a 2009 graduate of Warren East High School in Bowling Green, Ky. He is a 2013 electrical engineering graduate of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green. Nicholas is employed as a software developer at NASA.
The bride is a 2011 graduate of the Caroll Martin Gatton Academy of WKU in Bowling Green and Somerset High School, of Somerset, Ky. She is a 2013 biochemistry graduate of Western Kentucky. Nowelle is currently attending Palmer College of Chiropractics in Port Orange, Fla.
The couple will reside in Port Orange, Fla., after honeymooning in Tampa, Fla.
