WEDDING: Valerie Fyock and Lowell Jessee Jr.

On Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, Valerie Ann Fyock and Lowell Lee Jessee Jr. said their marriage vows during an outdoor wedding at Silver Hearth Lodge, high atop Bent Mountain, in Virginia.

The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Pastor Jonathon Jankovich, friend of the bride. Special music was provided by Gregory Widdowson and Matt and Sarah Rapch, cousins of the bride. Karen Lachowicz, sister of the groom, gave a special reading. Wedding and reception music was provided by Curtis Cotton, MC/DJ.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Tracy Fyock, of Clymer. She is a graduate of Juniata College and was a kindergarten teacher in Fauquier County Schools in Warrenton, Va.

The groom is the son of Ms. Peggy Jane Rieley Jessee, of Roanoke, Va., and the late Mr. Lowell Lee Jessee Sr. He is a graduate of the Engineering School of Virginia Tech, and is employed by SCIenergy as a principal engineer.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Bridesmaids were Stacey Neal and Darla Strong, sisters of the bride; Gwen Jankovich, “sister” of the bride; and Karen Lachowicz, sister of the groom. The junior bridesmaid was Jessica Lachowicz, niece of the groom. Also serving as junior bridesmaids were Grace Neal and Haley Strong, nieces of the bride; Abby Rapach, cousin of the bride; and Glory Jankovich, “niece” of the bride.

Groomsmen were Michael Hudson, David Cassada, Robert Smith and Matt Dillon, friends of the groom. Junior groomsmen were Jonathan and Jeremy Lachowicz, nephews of the groom; and Quintin and Braden Neal and Owen Strong, nephews of the bride. Jonathan also served his uncle as ring bearer. Cathy Wilkinson, the groom’s second-grade teacher, was the wedding coordinator.

During the dinner-buffet reception, the bride’s father surprised her with a special song he had written for her wedding day. A five-tier wedding cake was made by the bride’s cousin, Rebecca Ankeny.

There were family, friends and business associates in attendance from Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Virginia.

Lowell and Valerie are at home in Knoxville, Tenn.
