A state police fire marshal is investigating the cause of a blaze that gutted a house Monday night along Grandview Avenue in White Township.
Scott Schuller, a first assistant chief with the Indiana Fire Association, said this morning that no one was in the house and no firefighters were injured.
He said the residence had power, but he’s not sure if anyone lived there. He said the fire gutted the first and second floors.
Indiana firefighters were on scene for more than two hours, he said. Indiana was dispatched at 10:50 p.m., along with the Rig 900 Team and Citizens’ Ambulance Service. The Homer City and Clymer fire departments were called to assist a short time later.
