The Indiana Free Library will open for grab and go service beginning Wednesday.
Patrons can call or email requests for books and other materials to be picked up at the ground floor entrance.
There is a limit of five items.
Packages will be left in labeled plastic bags on shelves inside the door, where one patron at a time may pick up materials.
Pickup hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Monday and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday.
This service will continue until Indiana County moves into the “green” designation in regard to the pandemic.
Interlibrary loans will not be taken during this time; requested material must be from IFL.
In other library news, the new website has launched with same domain name, www.indianafreelibrary.org.
The library reminds patrons that Overdrive is no longer the digital service, as it was updated to cloudLibrary.
If you do not have your free library card for cloud access, request your digital library card from email@example.com.
Donations are also still being taken with the “Digital Owl” campaign, which bolsters efforts to provide quality entertaining and educational programming to the community.
For your donation of $5 or more, you will receive an owl on the library’s Facebook page to show that you support your local library.
