4-H members earn visit to national conference

Three Indiana County 4-H members were chosen to attend the recent National 4-H Conference at the National 4-H Center in Washington, D.C.

County representatives were, from left, Alexis Elgin, Jesse Isenberg and Mary Ann Ostach. These three members have served as 4-H Ambassadors for several years and have all developed excellent 4-H records. They were chosen for the event along with 4-H members from Dauphin and Montgomery counties.

Alisa Isenberg was also able to attend the event as the state chaperone.

The National 4-H Conference is a special event that brings together 200 outstanding 4-H members from across the nation.

Members were able to visit legislators on Capitol Hill, give special reports to legislative groups and visit special sites in Washington. (Submitted photo)
