Bank executive earns honors status
Scott Valazak, vice president of commercial lending at Indiana First Bank, has been recognized for achieving honor-student status from the PBA School of Commercial Lending at the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Group 8 meeting.
Honor students are selected on outstanding work during school and on a post-test examination.
Valazak has served in the banking industry for 12 years. He has worked in various positions at Indiana First, including credit analyst and accounting. In his current role, he is responsible for developing business loan opportunities.
The School of Commercial Lending supports the business development and leadership skills of experienced and potential commercial lenders.
The PBA, in Harrisburg, is the state’s leading banking trade association offering extensive continuing education programs, government relations representation on behalf of the industry, and provides products and services for banks and their employees.
