BID maintenance worker hired
Downtown Indiana Inc. recently named Troy Frantz as its new Business Improvement District (BID) maintenance person.
Frantz began work on Tuesday.
A safety science major at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he joined Downtown Indiana after working for a local landscaping business, Earthcraft Landscaping.
DI officials believe his experience there has provided him with the skills, expertise and qualifications required for the BID position.
“Downtown Indiana has tremendous faith that Troy will do a remarkable job maintaining the upkeep of the Business Improvement District,” Jess Bowman, Downtown Indiana manager, said in a release.
“We are aware of the concerns business owners have had regarding maintenance downtown and greatly appreciate the patience and understanding of property owners during this transition.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it has caused business and property owners. Troy is a trustworthy, hard worker who is going to do a wonderful job at getting the Business Improvement District back in order.”
Frantz visited numerous businesses last week, introducing himself and inquiring about specific maintenance work they would like to see done to their property.
