Board announces meetings

The Indiana County Board of Assistance holds quarterly meetings that are open to the public. The meetings are held at the Indiana County Assistance Office, 2750 West Pike, in White Township. The meetings begin at 3 p.m. Scheduled meetings for the 2013-14 fiscal year are Sept. 4, Dec. 4, March 5 and June 4.

The office is open to the public from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to provide cash assistance, food stamps, medical assistance and low-income home energy assistance program benefits to eligible residents of Indiana County. The office telephone number is (724) 357-2900.
