CLYMER — Clymer Borough has received a $25,000 grant to develop a form-based code system, council announced Tuesday.

The Municipal Assistance Program grant is from the Department of Community and Economic Development and will be used to develop the codes, which are regulations for zoning.

A code committee will be made up of councilwoman Steph Brilhart; Jeff Grim, of the Indiana County Office of Planning & Development; John Hardesty, of the water authority; and Dan Fletcher, of Clymer Civic Association.

Borough council recently received notification that the grant was approved; additional details were not available.

In other business, council announced that spring cleanup will be from April 30 to May 4. Residents may bring items to the Adams Street garage for disposal.
