The 11 seniors of the Homer-Center High School football team and members of the team’s coaching staff were congratulated Wednesday by the Indiana County commissioners for their banner 2013 season.

Homer-Center won the PIAA District 6 Class A championship and the Heritage Conference championship. The Wildcats posted 12 victories this season, the most in the school’s history, scored the most points in a single season in Heritage Conference history, and for the first time in school history had two 1,000-yard rushers in a single season.

“This is a group that really embodies what our program is all about,” coach Greg Page told the commissioners.
