The Annual Empty Bowl fundraiser was held Tuesday at The Artists Hand Gallery on Philadelphia Street in Indiana, where Jonathan Nagy and Tara Dinga, of Indiana, spent time studying the handmade bowls to find just the right one.

The event, which offered participants a bowl to fill with homemade soup, along with bread and dessert, was a benefit for the Indiana County Community Action Program’s food bank in conjunction with the county’s potters.

A total of $4,190 was collected, according to ICCAP. (Tom Peel/Gazette photo)
