Film star wannabes line up for casting call
Virginia Lamkie, of Cherry Tree, right, spoke with Chelsea Peterson, assistant casting director, for Hope Films of Pittsburgh during a casting call Saturday at the Indiana Mall for the film “Southpaw,” starring Jake Gyllenhaal.
The casting crew is looking for 1,500 to 2,000 people to make up the audience for boxing matches during the movie.
Scenes for the movie are to be shot at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex in White Township for about two weeks in June.
