Foundation to hold mystery dinner

on January 31, 2014 10:50 AM

The accessAbilities Foundation will hold its fifth annual Murder Mystery Dinner on March 1 at 5 p.m. at the Rustic Lodge in White Township. The evening will feature western Pennsylvania’s premier murder mystery troupe, Mystery’s Most Wanted.

Guests at this interactive dinner theater performance of “The Peasants are Revolting” will be transported back in time to the Middle Ages, when peasants toil, rats frolic and the king is, well, the king. Pestilence and disease are not the only things that are deadly, as tax season might kill, too.

Guests are encouraged to dress in period costume.

The evening is guaranteed to bring suspense, laughter and enjoyment to all who attend, said Barbara Christner, director of development and marketing at the accessAbilities Foundation.

“Our Murder Mystery Dinner has grown over the past four years to the point of potentially having a sellout crowd in 2014, so we are encouraging those individuals who would like to attend to purchase their tickets online today,” she said.

Groups or families may purchase a table. The foundation is also accepting gift baskets and program ads for the evening.

For more information on reservations or how to support this event, visit www.accessAbilities or call (724) 465-6042, ext. 1030. Individual and couples rates are available. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.

All proceeds benefit the foundation’s sister agencies, accessAbilities Inc. and All Abilities Inc. Both serve individuals with disabilities in southwestern Pennsylvania.
