Homer-Center library to offer events

The Homer-Center Public Library will celebrate its sixth anniversary with several different events the week of May 11. The public is invited to attend these events:

• May 13: John Busovicki will do a coin presentation from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

• May 15: S&T Bank will present a program on “Identity Theft and Fraud” at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.

• May 17: Mya Zemlock, a student at Homer-Center School District who wrote “Heartless,” will sign copies of her book from noon to 2 p.m. “Heartless” will be available for purchase. Light refreshments will be provided.

• An open house/plaque dedication will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. that day, the actual anniversary of the library. Light refreshments will be provided.
