The 17th annual Hoodlebug Summerfest was held Sunday at the Homer City Firemen’s Field.
The festival included events such as a parade; car cruise; hula hoop, duck race and jitterbug contests; a polka contest and an eating contest; and the annual 5K race held at Floodway Park.
Featured entertainment throughout the festival was Todd Edwards, American-made alternative country; The Boomers, oldies, ’80s and classic rock; Kevin Dale with Top 40 country music; and Somebody to Love, classic rock, folk, country and soul.
This year’s theme for the festival was “Hoodlebug: Wildcats Train to Fame.”
