Indiana military unit readied to face Korea

Barely six weeks after the start of the Korean War, a unit of soldiers from Indiana embarked on their training.

The men of Company F, 28th Division, 110th Infantry Regiment were based at the old National Guard Armory at Wayne Avenue and South Sixth Street.
