More than 300 children received new shoes during the second annual Kicks for Kids program Saturday hosted by Summit Church in White Township.

More than 600 pairs of shoes and donations totaling $3,000 were collected to help the program, sponsored by Marion Center Bank, Cameron Salon, Summit Church and S&T Bank, reach its goal.

Martin’s of Indiana provided refreshments for the volunteers and families.

Brittany Yankuskie, a volunteer from Cameron Salon, helped children pick out a new pair of shoes during the event.
