Marion Center students honored
Marion Center Area High School students Hannah Fulton and Kyle Anderson have been awarded a scholarship by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Directors Association.
This year the PSADA Foundation awarded scholarships to scholar-athletes from 10 schools in Pennsylvania.
Fulton graduated first in her class of 110 with a 4.25 grade-point average. She earned varsity letters for four years in cross country, two years in swimming, two years in indoor track and four years in track and field.
Her other activities include Quiz Bowl, Project Earth and History Buff Bikers.
Fulton will be attending Shippensburg University. She is the daughter of Dave and Lori Fulton.
Anderson was sixth in a class of 110 with a 4.06 grade-point average. He earned varsity letters for four years in cross country, one year in swimming, two years in indoor track and four years in track and field.
His other activities include tae kwon do, Math Club, FBLA, Quiz Bowl, History Buff Bikers and working as a life-guard.
Anderson will be attending Robert Morris University to major in biomedical engineering.
He is the son of Dan and Shelby Anderson.
