Downtown Indiana and the old county courthouse were highlighted by the sun shining through the clouds Tuesday in this view from Overlook Drive.

While spring arrived today at 7:02 a.m., the forecast calls for a chance of snow showers and temperatures dipping into the teens tonight, according to the National Weather Service.

Chief Photographer Tom Peel has been photographing events in the county since 1966. He started with the Gazette while in high school and then came on board full-time in 1969.
