Phoenix Rehabilitation names new CFO
BLAIRSVILLE — Phoenix Rehabilitation and Health Services Inc., a physical rehabilitation agency, recently appointed James M. Bargerstock as chief financial offier.
Bargerstock will be responsible for the company’s financial reporting, treasury, audit and accounting functions that had been performed by the company’s chief administrative officer, Kimberly Anderson.
This senior-level addition will allow Anderson to narrow her focus to the human resources and billing and collections responsibilities. Both Bargerstock and Anderson report to Phoenix’s president and CEO, David D. Watson.
“The addition of a CFO will round out our C-suite and improve our financial acumen as we continue to posture the company for significant growth in and around the Mid-Atlantic region,” Watson said in a news release. “Jim possesses strong experience in the areas of finance and accounting. That, along with his leadership skills, make him well equipped to execute our strategic financial plans.”
A graduate of Robert Morris University, Bargerstock holds an MBA in corporate finance as well as master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accounting. Prior to joining Phoenix, he served as vice president of accounting and administration/chief financial officer for SinterMet LLC.
