on November 23, 2013 10:50 AM

Continuing on with its Ovations! series, the Lively Arts at Indiana University of Pennsylvania will present “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now,” created and performed by the world-touring troupe Rhythmic Circus. This unforgettable show will be performed on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Fisher Auditorium of IUP’s Performing Arts Center at a special early family-friendly time of 7 p.m.

“Feet Don’t Fail Me Now” is the story of Rhythmic Circus, a group of excited and talented tap dancers who are on a mission to do no less than inspire every single man, woman and child on earth to find the hidden dancer that lives inside them. Through a series of high-energy songs, monologues and the investigative work of beat-boxing narrator Bobert C. Case, Rhythmic Circus takes the audience into adventures that will be long-remembered.

Receiving rave reviews for their production currently running at the New Victory Theater in New York City and the highest ratings from audience members across the U.S., this show is filled with the super-charged tap dancing mixed with a wide variety of musical styles from funk to blues and salsa to rock and roll.

With four award-winning dancers and a six-piece band, this raucous show is a holiday treat for all ages.

Since its inception in 2007, Rhythmic Circus has quickly risen to become the busiest touring tap company in the nation.

The group’s reputation goes well beyond the sum of the dancer’s talents and their origins in Minnesota’s Twin Cities.
