'Save the Puppy' event slated for July 25
Bet I Can Productions, Walbeck Insurance and the Apartment Gallery are partnering with the Indiana County Humane Society for the inaugural Save the Puppy 2014 event on July 25 at the Indiana Theater in downtown Indiana.
The local band Coastal Remedy will kick off the event at 8 p.m., followed by the Bernie Worrell Orchestra. Coastal Remedy recently released their second album of original material. Bernie Worrell played with the Talking Heads in the 1980s and earned the nickname “The Wizard of Woo” for his work with Parliament Funkadelic, as well as a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Tickets are $15, and all proceeds benefit the Indiana County Humane Society. Twisted Jimmies will host a pre-event happy hour from 5 to 7:30 p.m. the night of the show.
Drink and dinner specials will be available to all ticket holders. Tickets are available at the Westgate Terrace Apartments office, Tracy’s Upscale Resale, Twisted Jimmies and The Artists Hand Gallery.
