Scouts plan annual honors event

Local officials and others affiliated with Boys Scouts of America recently held a kickoff event for the 2014 Indiana County Partners for Scouting Campaign to promote the upcoming William Penn Luncheon on May 9 at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex in Indiana.

At the luncheon, Charles A. Spadafora will be honored with the Distinguished Citizen Award. Seated from left are Sen. Don White; Sam Phillips, campaign chairman; C.J. Spadafora, Colonial Motors; and Don Coleman, campaign team member.
