Snowman towers over neighborhood

by on January 24, 2014 11:00 AM

It took the assistance of a skid loader for Tim Tyger, Jeff Chronosky Jr. and son Blaine Chronosky, 6, to assemble this snowman, about 10 feet tall, Monday at Chronosky’s home along King Road in Center Township.

This snowman won’t be melting anytime soon, as frigid temperatures and accumulating snowfall will continue through the weekend.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory effective from midnight to 6 p.m. Saturday, with 2 to 4 inches of snow expected. (Tom Peel/Gazette)
