on May 02, 2014 10:26 PM

The Indiana County Municipal Services Authority has lifted a boil-water order that had been in place for one week.

"Continued water testing has consistently shown that the water being produced meets all of the water quality standards and is safe to drink," the authority reported on its website.

The order affected customers served by ICMSA's Crooked Creek water treatment plant, including parts of White, Washington, Armstrong, Young, Center and Conemaugh townships and Creekside, Ernest and Shelocta boroughs.
