A crew from Ray Winters and Sons of Indiana started work Wednesday to repair a 740-foot waterline on South Lincoln Street at Ridge Avenue in Homer City.

The project is expected to take about two weeks, and customers in the 10 affected residences may experience periodic interruptions in service.

The road also will be closed at times during repairs. Pictured are John Beatty, working in the ditch, and Rick Syster, operating the backhoe. (Tom Peel/Gazette photo)
