BREAKING NEWS: IUP outlasts New Haven, 17-14

WEST HAVEN, Conn. -- It might not have been pretty, but it was good enough.

IUP overcame numerous mistakes and penalties and held on for a wild and intense 17-14 win over New Haven in an NCAA Division II second-round playoff game on Saturday.

IUP (12-1) will visit Winston-Salem next Saturday in the Super Region One final. The winner moves on to the national semifinals on Dec. 8.

Harvie Tuck and Tyler Dummermuth scored touchdowns for the Crimson Hawks. De'Antwan Williams rushed for 125 yards for IUP.

New Haven (10-1) outgained IUP 352-252.
