Hoodlebug race set July 14
HOMER CITY — The Hoodlebug 5K Run and Fun Walk will be held Sunday, July 14, in Homer City.
Race-day registration opens at 4:30 p.m. at Floodway Park on Main Street, and the race being at 6 p.m.
The course is on city streets in Homer City and Center Township, and part of the last mile is on the Hoodlebug Trail.
The Hoodlebug 5K is conducted by Indiana Road Runners Club in conjunction with the Homer City Business Association’s annual festival.

IUP slates basketball camps
The IUP men’s basketball program will hold summer camps on June 24 to 27 and July 22 to 25.

Camp set at Penns Manor
KENWOOD — The Penns Manor High School boys’ and girls’ basketball program will hold a camp this summer.
The camp will be held June 17 to 21 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It is open to any boy or girl entering grades 3 to 7.
The cost is $50 before June 1 and $60 after May 31.

IUP baseball camp scheduled
The IUP baseball team will hold a summer camp from June 17 to 20 for players ages 7-15.
The camp will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily at the Owen J. Dougherty complex on IUP’s South Campus.
The cost is $110 with early registration, and $125 the week of the camp.
The IUP coaching staff and players will offer instruction.

Marion Center sets camps
MARION CENTER — The Marion Center Basketball Boosters will hold a summer camp for boys and girls from 9 a.m. to noon June 17 to 20.
The camp is for players entering grades 2 through 7.
Marion Center High School coaches and players will be instructors. The cost is $65.
Registration will be held on Monday, June 17, at 8:30 a.m.
Additionally, the Marion Center Basketball Boosters will hold Drills & Skills sessions in June and July.
The varsity girls’ basketball team will run drills for students in grades 2 through 6.
The dates are: June 25, July 2, 9 and 16 (Tuesdays) from 7 to 8 p.m.; June 27, July 11 and 18 (Thursdays) from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Players may register on the first session on June 25.

Soccer boosters slate skills camp
The Indiana Area Soccer Boosters will hold its annual soccer skills camp on June 17 to 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at Indiana High School’s Andy Kuzneski Field.
The registration fee is $70. The camp is for boys and girls entering grades 1 through 8.

HOMER CITY — A basketball camp and shooting clinic for boys and girls will be held at the Homer-Center High School this summer.
The camp will be held June 10 to 14. A session for players entering grades 3 to 6 will be held from 8 to 11:30 a.m., followed by a session for players entering grades 7 to 12 from 12:30 to 4 p.m. The cost is $65 before May 31 and $75 after.
The clinic will be held June 17 to 21. A session for players entering grades 3 to 7 will be held from 8 to 10 a.m., and a session for players entering grades 8 to 12 will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost is $45 before May 31 and $55 after.
