Archery league posts winners
CLYMER — Ryan Cricks and Nichole Pavelchick topped the individual shooters, and Givem The Shaft took the team honors in the third week of competition in the RC Indoor Archery Winter League.
Cricks recorded a 257 to top the men’s shooters, and Pavelchick shot a 238 to top the women’s ranks.
The Givem The Shaft team of Ralph Greene, Zach Prugh, Cricks and Noah Mohmey fired a 1,054.3.
In the overall standings, Jared Mason leads the way with a 715. He is followed by Ken Misko at 712 and Cricks at 708.
In the team standings, Autumn Assassins is first at 3,146.7, followed by Body Shots at 3,143.4 and Death By Lethal Injection at 3131.7.
RC Indoor Archery is located at 675 Sherman St., Clymer.

Fly-tying event scheduled at Elks
The Ken Sink Chapter of Trout Unlimited will hold a fly-tying round-robin demonstration at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the Indiana Elks.
The demonstration is open to the public and there is no fee.

Club to hold annual coyote hunt
SINNEMAHONING — The Sinnemahoning Sportsmen’s Club will hold its ninth annual coyote hunt on Feb. 14 through 16.
The hunting area consists of five states: Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Ohio and Virginia.
All participants must be a member of the club. Participants can apply for membership at the time of registration.
The fee is $12. There is an additional $5 fee to register for the heaviest female coyote.
Registration can be completed at the club on Feb. 1 and Feb. 8 from 10 a.m. to noon and Feb. 13 from 6 p.m. to midnight.

Hunter-trapper class set at club
SHELOCTA — A hunter-trapper education class will be held at the Shelocta Sportsmen’s Club from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23.
Prior to attending a class, participants must complete the online independent study.
Registration and the online study are available at www.state.pa.us. The class is limited to 50 participants, and they must be 11 or older.
