PENNS MANOR 5, PURCHASE LINE 4: Host Penns Manor limited Purchase Line to just four hits and used a three-run rally in the fifth inning to earn a come-from-behind win in a Heritage Conference game.

The Comets trailed 4-2 before plating three runs on three hits and an error in the bottom of the fifth. Gavin Grimaldi sparked the rally with an RBI double to make it 4-3.

Two batters later, Kyle Templeton hit a game-tying sacrifice fly.

Mitch Hamilton then scored the eventual game-winning run on an error with two outs.

Luke Kowalski doubled twice and drove in two runs for Penns Manor. Hamilton added two singles.

With Purchase Line leading 3-0, Grimaldi replaced starting pitcher Zach Hnatko in the top of the first inning with one out. Grimaldi struck 11 and walked two in 6 2-3 innings.

Zack Bartlebaugh drove in a pair of runs to pace Purchase Line.

Both teams play Friday. Penns Manor (2-2) travels to United, and Purchase Line (0-5) plays host to Homer-Center.
