HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY: Lenze, Raible lead IHS runners

FORD CITY — The Indiana High School cross country teams each beat Ford City but lost to Mars in a WPIAL non-section triangular meet Wednesday.

Indiana took three of the top five spots in the boys’ meet, defeating the Sabers, 17-46, and losing to Mars, 26-29.

Adam Lenze took first place, coming in at 17 minutes. Ryan Louther (17:50) took third and Sam Lenze (18:59) came in fourth.

Kacey Raible led the Indiana girls with a second-place finish, in 22:12.

Indiana beat Ford City, 17-38, and lost to Mars, 19-40.

Melanie Zolocsik (23:13) finished seventh for Indiana, with Taylor Thomas (23:16) just behind her, in eighth.
