INDIANA 64, DERRY 36: Freshman Jessica Stever scored a career-high 28 points, and visiting Indiana rolled to its 11th straight win in a WPIAL Section 3-AAA game.

“(Stever) just got hot shooting the ball,” Indiana assistant coach Otto Peterson said. “She drove to the hoop nice and the girls were feeding her all night with beautiful passes. She definitely had the hot hand.”

Kaitlyn Hoff chipped in 13 points for the Indians. Lucy Bujdos grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds.

Madison DeLuca paced Derry with 11 points.

Indiana (14-3, 8-1 section) plays host to Yough on Thursday. Derry (3-12, 1-9) welcomes California on Friday.

APOLLO-RIDGE 62, LEECHBURG 17: Three Apollo-Ridge players reached double figures in scoring and the Vikings limited Leechburg to just seven field goals en route to an easy win in a WPIAL Section 1-AA game in Spring Church.

The Vikings didn’t make a free throw — they only attempted two — but they made 30 field goals.

Claire Broman paced Apollo-Ridge with 14 points. Jackie Rearick and Mariah Laird scored 10 points apiece.

Apollo-Ridge (11-6, 4-5 section) travels to Jeannette on Wednesday.

PURCHASE LINE 55, PENNS MANOR 34: Purchase Line’s Ashley Goodlin scored 18 points, Jaycelyn Fleming posted a double-double, and the Red Dragons beat Penns Manor to notch their first conference win in a Heritage Conference game.

Fleming piled up 13 points and a game-high 19 rebounds, and Goodlin added five steals and three assists. Brooke Riva tacked on 10 points and five assists, and Brianna Riva had five assists.

Sarah DaBella scored nine points to pace Penns Manor.

Both teams play Thursday. Purchase Line (3-12, 1-9) plays host to Blairsville and Penns Manor travels to Ligonier Valley.
