YOUTH SOCCER: IASB team beats Loyalhanna

The Indiana Storm U12 girls’ team of the Indiana Area Soccer Boosters finished its season with a 5-2-1 record by beating Loyalhanna, 7-1, and tying the Penn-Trafford Xtreme, 3-3, in doubleheader Sunday.

Emily Sebring scored three goals in the first match. Renee Hill and Hannah Scardina each netted two goals, Gia Spadafora had an assist, and Hill and Emily Scherf shared goaltending duties.

Caelia Williams, Hill and Sebring each scored a goal in the second match, which was called early due to inclement weather. Hill and Scherf each played in goal.

The Blackshawks U10 boys’ team concluded its season by nipping Plum, 2-1. Isaac Myers and Vince Belice each scored a goal for Indiana (2-4-2). Ethan Kutz and Jack Mock split goaltending duties.

The Blackhawks U12 boys’ team edged Woodland Hills, 3-2. Aaron McKelvy led Indiana (2-5-1) with two goals, and Ethan Shearer scored a goal. Cameron Walls played in goal.

The Lightning U10 girls’ team fell to Norwin, 6-1. Isabella Garzarelli scored the lone goal. Isabella Antonacci and Sydney Hynoski shared goalkeeping duties.

The Redhawks U10 boys’ team lost to Norwin to finish its season 1-8. Ash Lockard scored the lone goal on assists from Xander Williams and Sebastian Sedan. Matthew Bass, Cal-lan Romance and Williams played in goal.
