YOUTH SOCCER: IASB teams win pair of matches

Indiana Area Soccer Boosters teams won two matches and forged ties in two others over the weekend.

• The U-12 Blackhawks boys’ team defeated Magpies, 6-1. Aaron McKelvy scored four goals to lead Indiana. Josh Glaser and Dominic Groman had a goal apiece, and Jack Turner and Josh Kardell shared goaltending duties.

• The U-12 Redhawks boys’ team beat the Pittsburgh Dynamo, 3-2. Ethan Shearer scored a goal and notched an assist to pace Indiana. Malik Turner and Cameron Walls each netted a goal, and Cian Williamson-Rea and Walls each played goalie.

• The U-12 Storm girls’ team tied Norwin, 2-2. Hannah Scardina and Emily Sebring netted a goal for Indiana. Rachel Hill and Alicia Mitchel shared goaltending duties.

• The U-10 Lightning girls’ team tied Somerset, 3-3. Sophia Garzarelli scored two goals to guide Indiana. Isabella Garzarelli tacked on a goal, and Sophia Garzarelli and Emily Scherf each played goalie.
