The Indiana County Republican Committee is seeking candidates who would like to run for office in the Nov. 5 general election.

Needed are candidates for White Township supervisor, Indiana Borough Council member from the First Ward, Ernest Borough mayor and Green Township supervisor. All are for two-year terms.

All interested candidates for any of these positions may email a r←sum← and cover letter to no later than Aug. 31, according to Gilbert Woodley, Republican committee chairman. Candidates will be selected by interview and a vote of the Indiana County Republican Committee members who reside within the district of the position.

Those seeking office must be a registered Republican and resident of the district of the position. Applicants will be notified of the date of the selection process.
