THE INDIANA Kiwanis Club recently announced a commitment of $20,000 to the Alice Paul House for a playground to be built at its new building, which is scheduled to open in May.
The roof at the agency’s original shelter collapsed three years ago, and the agency was forced to reconfigure the structure to maintain a safe environment for victims.
The APH is a comprehensive victim services organization, best known for its work with domestic violence and sexual assault victims. Donations to the campaign to help pay for the new building can be made by visiting alicepaulhouse.org or by mailing a check to Alice Paul House, P.O. Box 417, Indiana, PA 15701.
