The Indiana County NAACP held the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Civil Rights March in Indiana on Saturday, walking from the county courthouse to Grace United Methodist Church, where a memorial program was held.

The annual Indiana County Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Program and Fellowship Luncheon will be held Jan. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 50 S. Seventh St.

Guest speaker Kristin Shymoniak will present “Code Red: Reimagining Destiny and a New Frontier.” Shymoniak is an educational advocate, community leader, student support coordinator and serves on the D.C. Mayor’s Commission on African American Affairs.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
