Letter to the Editor: Americans denied information they need
I find it interesting and frightening that so many people know so little about what is happening to their lives and their livelihoods.
For the first time in our nation’s history we are ordered to have health care run by government, and, if we don’t comply, we are fined. And every year the fines will increase.
When that fact is spoken by anyone who believes that it is wrong and socialistic, they are yelled at for being racist.
When another fact is spoken about black unemployment being up more than 60 percent since President Bush was president, again racism is charged to those who dare to speak out.
Education has been compromised and propagandized to the left’s point of view. Anyone who doesn’t follow the liberal party line is not allowed to speak on college campuses. Grants were taken away from black and poor kids who were going to good private schools. Charter schools and home schooling are, of course, on Obama’s agenda to be eradicated.
It is a pure biological fact that a child is in the womb from the time of conception. Those who deny the fact are the first to scream “war on women.”
And the major news networks either twist their reports and/or just don’t mention what doesn’t suit them regarding the B. Hussein Obama ideology.
Again the people are denied the information they should have ... and don’t even know they have been shortchanged.
Fox News, which has been No. 1 on cable; the Koch Brothers, who are 58th on the list behind unions and Democrat special interests for political contributions (www.opensecrets.org/org/ list.php); the Drudge Report; the tea party; or any conservative of any race or gender must be denied, belittled, denigrated and shouted down in order not to have their message revealed.
Any time one person or group of people has to resort to name-calling and denies others being heard must be very afraid of that message. After all, it is well known that the less people know, the easier they are to control.
