Letter to the Editor: Son Day was wonderful
Clymer and other towns nearby are often mentioned in The Indiana Gazette in articles about activities that are not condoned by law enforcement or most citizens.
However, on Sunday, Aug. 3, we went to Clymer for Son Day in the Park. This function was organized by local people and different church groups.
There was truly something for everyone. You could see that there was a tremendous amount of work and time and money put into this wonderful event.
It is my belief that even Mr. George Clymer, who I understand freely gave the land to this town to be developed, would have approved of this event. I don’t know all the facts of when and how he went about giving this land, but he must have been some generous man.
