VERA MOCK: More should resign in D.C.
Acting IRS commissioner Steven Miller recently “resigned” over the IRS targeting tea party or patriot groups.
I can’t help but wish there were more resignations forthcoming, particularly in Washington, D.C.
The cover-up over the Benghazi attacks that claimed the lives of four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stev-ens, is unforgivable in my eyes.
President Obama wants the people to believe he knew nothing about Benghazi, or the IRS targeting conservatives, or the Justice Department subpoena of Associated Press phone records.
So in that case, either he is not being honest with the people or he is incompetent. Which is it, Mr. President?
We cannot be a strong country with such a weak leader. We need to be thankful that God is available and is always reaching out to us and, as “one nation under God,” look to him for our leadership.
After our final walk on this earth, each of us will have to face God and give account according to the life we’ve led. We will hear him say, “Depart, I never knew you,” or “Welcome home, my good and faithful servant. Enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.”
Are you prepared for what he will say to you?
