GROVE CITY (AP) — Police in northwestern Pennsylvania say they’re looking for 35 shopping carts stolen about a week ago from a store in Grove City.

The Sharon Herald reported Monday that the black metal carts are decorated with the County Market store name on red plastic handles.

They’re relatively new and worth about $135 apiece.

The store normally has about 250 of them, and employees noticed that a few dozen seemed to be missing. Their carts are now being chained up at night.

Police estimate the theft occurred overnight sometime between July 25 and 27.

A check of local scrap yards hasn’t produced any leads.
