Burrell Township

State police reported a vehicle driven by Desmond Grace, of Greensburg, Westmoreland County, hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Marlin Swarey, of Reedsville, Mifflin County, at 6:36 a.m. Saturday on Route 22 near Penn View. The wreck resulted when Grace swerved to avoid a deer on the road, according to a news release.

Troopers reported no one was injured.

Armstrong Township

Vehicles driven by Jason Elder, of Hadley, Mercer County, and Joseph Matson, of Butler, Butler County, collided at 10:05 a.m. Friday on Route 422 near Miller Drive east of Shelocta, state police at Indiana reported.

No injuries were reported.

Derry Township, Westmoreland County

State police reported a sport utility vehicle driven by Dakota Bejster, of Loyalhanna, Westmoreland County, hit a tree along Route 982 at 12:37 p.m. Sept. 30.

Bejster, 18, was treated for minor injuries at Latrobe Hospital, police reported.

Bell Township, Jefferson County

Jodi Bricen, of Reynoldsville, suffered what state police called a minor injury at 4:45 p.m. Friday when the sport utility vehicle she was driving hit an embankment and rolled onto its roof on Graffius Avenue Extension near Punxsutawney.

State police reported Bricen, 27, was treated at the scene by Jefferson County EMS paramedics.

Oliver Township, Jefferson County

State police reported a truck driven by a 17-year-old boy from Punxsutawney hit an embankment and rolled onto its roof at 5:30 p.m. Saturday on London Road near Clark Road.

No one was reported to be injured.

Mahaffey, Clearfield County

A car driven by Brock Bakaysa, of Mahaffey, hit a pickup truck parked along Main Street near Mine Street at 2:36 a.m. Wednesday, state police at Punxsutawney reported.

No one was reported to be injured.
