PITTSBURGH (AP) — A former western Pennsylvania state prison inmate and the female guard he befriended while serving time for a drug offense have been charged with enslaving a 16-year-old runaway, whom they forced into prostitution.

The sordid details of the charges faced by Rasul Abernathy, 32, and his former guard at the state prison in Greensburg, Poshauntaramin Walker, 34, have been spelled out in a search warrant unsealed this week. It was obtained last month when the FBI searched their home in Coatesville.

The couple remain in federal custody in eastern Pennsylvania, but are scheduled to return to federal court in Pittsburgh later this month to face charges of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking and sex trafficking of a child.
