BETHLEHEM (AP) — A crossing guard in eastern Pennsylvania is hanging up his holster after a picture of him packing heat was posted on Facebook.

WPVI-TV reported that Scott Becker, 52, has been a crossing guard in Bethlehem for eight years and has a permit to carry a gun.

But he was asked Monday by school officials to leave the gun at home after a photo appeared on Facebook showing he was armed while crossing kids heading to school.
