CLYMER — The death of a Clymer woman, whose body was found this morning outside her home, is under investigation by state and local police, the coroner and the district attorney.
An employee at a nearby business discovered the body of Janice Keith, 66, around 10 a.m. in the snow beside a small porch at her home at 150 Spruce St., said Indiana County District Attorney Patrick Dougherty.
All possible causes remain under consideration, and officials are treating it as a suspicious death, he said.
An autopsy may be performed late today or Saturday and “hopefully will shed some light on this,” the D.A. said.
Keith lived alone in the house.
