Driver hurt in car-train collision
HATBORO (AP) — Authorities say a car was hit by a commuter train in Montgomery County and the driver was taken to a local hospital in extremely critical condition.
Officials say the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority regional rail train collided with a car at a rail crossing around 9 p.m. Friday in Hatboro.
The car was pushed about 40 feet down the track and the driver was trapped inside of the car for about 20 minutes.
