Fire guts house in southern Indiana County
WEST WHEATFIELD TOWNSHIP — Volunteer firefighters this afternoon worked to extinguish a fire that destroyed a two-story house in the village of Robinson.
Crews from Bolivar, Clyde and Seward were dispatched at 2 p.m. to the house at 122 Mary St., said by neighbors to be the residence of Carlos and Colbee Hernandez and their children Chloe and Tony.
No injuries were reported, but a pet dog was lost in the fire, according to sources at the scene.
Neighbors launched support efforts on Facebook to assist the family this afternoon.
Fire officials remained at the scene this afternoon, and were unavailable comment on the cause or the extent of damage.
